3:10 Carlisle Tips

Estrange was thought to need cut until winning her first two races last year on good ground. She may cope with conditions at Carlisle to win this Group 3 race.

I am a huge fan of Estrange, but the combination of a very short price and unsuitably quick ground makes me want to oppose her in this Group 3. Waardah looks a decent alternative. She has a good record. The trainer and jockey are a very potent combination, and she's a sporting price to get her head in front.

The 4yo was only beaten 2L in a Group 3 contest four weeks ago. He tired at the finish and was coming off a seven-month break. He can take a step forward in this Group 3 contest.

Held up at the back throughout but kept on well to take second over a furlong further at Goodwood last time out. Will come on for that run following a seven-month break.
