Woohoo has been in good form lately, and this race looks a good opportunity for her to get her head back in front. She wasn't beaten that far two runs back at Hamilton in a much better sprint than this. Her second-last time here was creditable enough; however, she is likely to get a stronger ride from Paul Mulrennan here than her inexperienced apprentice last time.

The 5yo was turned out too quickly for his last run but comes here fresh after a five week break. He wasn't beaten far in his two previous turf races. A much reduced mark now, good jockey booking and he is taking a drop in class.

The 2nd in this race for me is from the same yard, which often covers multiple pace angles. This one is a front runner which, on its day, can put in a good performance. If allowed to dictate, it could hang on if the fractions are correct.

The selection returned to winning ways in last race, on this distance at Hamilton 2 weeks ago, due to first-time cheekpieces which are used today again. The field is competitive and the pick is stepping up in category, but has gone done the weights being lighter, than the main threats.

Winner at Newcastle in December who hasn't hit top stride yet. Back on turf, but did run well when third at Catterick two starts ago. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong when beaten favourite here last time, so worth another chance this afternoon.

Thistle Nil won a maiden here back in May with Rhys in the saddle, claiming 5 lbs, but was not so good on handicap debut with a different rider. I am hoping that the return here with Rhys again and his 5 lbs claim, while 2 lbs lighter, could see him bounce back EW.
