All Ways Glamorous is bidding for a hat-trick. It won last time, in C&D and this category, beating the market's current favourite Bolo Neighs which was then 6th of 13, two and a half lengths behind. The pick's penalty will not invert that difference. Tuco Salamanca can be closer, but it runs better on the all weather.

Can't believe he is not favourite as I think he has a massive chance. Started off in the US and is a right speedball who loves rattling fast ground. The drier it gets, the more I like his chance. No show in the Stewards' Cup last week, but on his third over C&D two runs ago he has a mighty chance. He was a strong-finishing third in a really quick-time race. This looks no stronger, and on the clock he holds a massive advantage over All Ways Glamorous, who won over 5f at Ascot last time in a slower time than Fandom's effort over the same C&D. Fourth trainer Richard Hannon has done well with this speedster, who has won over 6f at Thirsk. I think he will love this stiff 5f, and though 3 lb higher than that Thirsk win, he is on the same mark as the C&D third two runs ago. Entered at Windsor on Monday but comes here instead. He was well beaten in the Coventry as a youngster and in the Wokingham this season, both at Royal Ascot, but he didn't get home in those strongly run 6f races.

The 4yo has 2 wins from 4 this year and progressing nicely. Not disgraced last week in the £127K 27 runner Stewards Cup handicap, beaten 4L in the end but he was at the front end on his part of the track entering the final furlong. He should be fine dropping down from 6f to 5f and has every chance in this company.

Fahrenheit Seven was hammered by the handicapper after winning his first two races this year in February and March and although well beaten since his mark has started to drift back down and he could bounce back at Ascot.
