Larkins Lane won last month at Sligo over 2m5f on good ground, improving on her previous effort while carrying 7lb less in a handicap. She thrives around 2½ miles on soft or good surfaces and has shown progressive form, making her well-suited to today's conditions and class.

Ladiam is currently second reserve but if she gets to run there's a good chance of her being in the mix. She tends to run well at this track, winning here last June, and finishing a respectable fifth on her return here after a six-month break in May.
