Showurappreciation looks thrown in here, switching back to hurdles after a comfortable win in a chase at Punchestown off 116. He is off 112 here, the same mark he was given after winning a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe in May 2023. His next hurdle came at Punchestown last April when he was 8th of 25 off 112.

Showurappreciation will take some beating on these terms but is very short and perhaps St Denis's Well ,who will appreciate the conditions more than most, can make a race of it.

Edward Cawley's 10 year old Gelding CHOSEN DIAMOND hasn't been at the races recently but a return back here @Navan where he has hit the frame twice could bring about some improvement. This son WELL CHOSEN Is not just 1lb higher for a Win @Fairyhouse last year. Conditional jockey is locked off for the much more experienced Philip Donovan who sheds 3lbs & arrives here in fine fettle. Hitting the frame here wouldn't be out of the question.

Lady Bluebird continues to drop in the weights and she may be worth a chance in a sphere where there are numerous 'dodgy' types. She's no superstar of course, or she'd be in the Champion hurdle next month, but she does have some form and her mark is dropping.

CD winner here in December with 18 others behind him. No good last twice, but this ultra-stiff track could well be to his liking with ground fine. May well be more to come back here.

Silver Salute has shown ability when placing in three points on a soft surface. He achieved little in maiden hurdles, but this is his first outing in a handicap. With his best points placings coming at this time of year, Silver Salute is given an outside chance.
