This promising filly finished 2nd out of 8 in her maiden race at Bellewstown just 10 days ago. As a 2-year-old, she is bound to show improvement putting her in strong contention.

Lake Swan is out of an unraced dam owned by Lady O'Reilly, who has had 85 juvenile winners, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Lake Swan turns out to be better than average and makes a winning debut for Gavin Cromwell. More so, the owner of Lake Swan, Ben Halsall, had a 2-year-old run for Gavin Cromwell on the 09/7 called Quiet Mutiny (9-2 into 3-1f), and it won a 15- runner maiden at Fairyhouse under Robert Whearty, beating an A P O'Brien horse by 1/2 length, posting a RPR of 78, so quite a useful start and the 12-1 will surely vanish.

Cotai Island is having its debut start today, and with its trainer having 2 winners from his last 3 runners, it looks like Cotai Island has a great chance to win this race at a big price.

Decent debut and only weakened close to home Lto when coming 6/15 beaten 4.25 lengths in a 6f maiden @ Fairyhouse. Should come on again, good apprentice booked taking off 3lb and shrewd trainer best here with his 2yo's last 5 seasons @ 17 percent, making current 18/1 solid Ew value in the race.

Horse number 14 is an interesting contender, that one has some good form already but others have chances. Push Harder makes her debut over an ideal looking distance to start with, does have good form in her pedigree over a longer distance but for now, this distance looks a good starting point.
