He's running well below his true potential. His win at Sligo showed he has the stamina and power to handle the 2 miles and 6 furlongs without issue. With Brian Hayes in the saddle, they'll pace themselves early to finish strong on the long straight at Limerick.

Poetic Focus has not shown her best recently but returns to a trip range where she has previously performed more competitively. In a modest contest, any revival of her earlier staying form could see her outrun bigger odds and sneak into the places today.

Bit of a wildcard here. Anysignofhim looks suited to this 2m6f, in my opinion. His last run was off the back of a long break and he basically needed it, so there’s room for improvement now he’s back in action. He’s placed once at this level recently, and he’s not a total outsider if he builds on that last run.

They are stepping this one up in trip slightly with the same regular jockey on board, and they are putting cheekpieces on this one for the first time. A good each-way value bet for the four places available.

Craic Ellas' last win was at Tramore in 2021, but she has run some good races since and is of interest here. Placed six times since that win, she returned from a nine-month absence when fifth of 14 over an inadequate 2m1f at Wexford 13 days ago. Stepping back up to 2m6f, she has cheek pieces back on and is down 1 lb. She looks like a good each-way bet with four places on offer.
