Eye Contact races today 6 lb better off. The favourite Gino Bella will probably lead, and I'm anticipating a patient ride today from Eye Contact and jockey Conor Stone Walsh. Each way.

Won here in Sept '25 and won it well , and won off 109 as is its rating today. Trainer targets this meeting for owners and may be trained for this especially and by no means out of it . Watch the betting for clues if this gets backed near the off , can go very well.

Black Bamboo looks to be severely underrated here. Has 6 podium finishes including 1 win from just 15 previous hurdles attempts, so regularly gets in the mix. Has been held back so far this year with just the one outing, and that was all the way back in January. Looks to have as much chance as any of the others here to me in a race without any clear claims, and for some reason a proven winner is rated the longest odds of the field. Value time.
