Impresive when winning a Ballinrobe maiden in May by 12 lengths. Looks the most likely winner here for a top stable

Carmels Phoenix has won her last two races, one on the flat and, last time, a debut win over hurdles, so she comes here at the top of her form. The Mullins favourite is certainly her main rival here.

AROULET has won a hurdle race at 2m 1f ninth in a Listed flat race over 1m 4f at Limerick on his latest outing last month back over hurdles today course distance and going should suit and could well be able to win this race

Munsif is a decent flat horse who has had plenty of chances to break his maiden tag over hurdles but he does get a seven pound allowance from previous winners and could get at least a place if he jumps a clear round.

Mino Des Mottes looks the runner with the strongest overall profile. He arrives with progressive hurdle form, should be well suited by the two-mile trip on good ground, and has the tactical pace needed for a race that is often run at a solid tempo. If he jumps cleanly, he sets the standard in this novice event.

Dawn Coming has not won yet but has been placed in all six of his hurdling starts so far, so has to be of interest each-way at a great price.

A bigger-priced runner who has shown enough ability to outrun market expectations if building on his hurdle win. He still has more to prove than the principals.
