Beat The Devil kept on for 2nd by 0.5 lengths last time out at Dundalk, 5 days ago. Off the same mark here and Patrick Magee yard has 60% RTF from 5 runners in last 14 days.

Has been tried at several distances. This may be as far as he needs, so a slight worry. But he has run well in big fields and would likely have won a couple but for finding traffic problems. If used better tactically here, he is likely to give a big run and probably make the frame at least.

I'll be surprised if Baila Conmingo can't get in the top 3 (4 on exchange ) here. Beat The Devil is obviously a threat but there aren't many more which appeal here

Jurality is still a maiden after 17 starts, but he was runner-up in his last two starts on the flat. He was beaten just 0.5 lengths by a winner who followed up next time in his last start on the flat at Limerick in July. He has since struggled over hurdles, but if he takes to the surface here he looks a good each-way bet with four places on offer.

This one was denied a clear run last time out. It will be fitter for that run, and they have a good jockey booking/change. Good value each-way bet for the four places available.

Behind some of these Lto, when coming 6/13 beaten 2.25 lengths in a similar level handicap over today's C/D. Happy to take those rivals on again here, the booking of C. Hayes looks very significant and very shrewd trainer who is in form, best here with his 4yo plus last 5 seasons, making current 18/1 very good Ew value in the race.

Won a handicap by a head off a two-pound lower mark here two starts ago, but below form when held in a claimer last time. Effective at 10/12f on the all-weather and returns to a handicap on a fair mark.

This horse only has one win, but that was at Dundalk. Finished third in a similar event over C&D in December off the same mark. A 7 lb claimer takes over the riding. Worth an each-way punt with four places on offer.

This horse is weighted to reverse form with Jawahy, and that one is trading a lot shorter in the market. Rising Sky has been consistent at Dundalk over shorter distances. It's the step up to 12f here. Dropped 2 lbs since last time, and the jockey claiming 7 lbs, which, to me, makes this horse a viable winning proposition. Interesting that his last race included a number of 3yo horses, and this race today is 4yo and up, so it should on balance be an easier assignment.

Course winner this time last year. Ran most of last year for a new stable at NH. Debuted here for another new trainer last month, improving in two runs to 4/11 last time out under today's 10 lb claimer. A punt at big odds.

With only two distance winners in the race, there might be a few in this field of 14 who struggle to last home over this 12f. This one has been running over further and was an excellent 3l fourth of 23 at Navan in October over 2f further. No surprise if she's got plenty in the tank in the final quarter based on that.
