Travelers Championship Tips

I reckon Scottie Scheffler will get back to winning ways at the Travelers. The U S Open was as tough a test as there ever was, on a course that severely punished wayward drives. The world's number 1 won the Travelers in 2024 (after a play-off) and I feel he'll succeed again this in 2025!

Xander Schauffele won Travelers Championship in 2022. He was top 20 in each of last four visits here. I think he wins his first tournament of the year at this course.

Unmatched course history with six straight T15s, including a T4. Coming off a T3 at the U.S. Open, his elite form and comfort here provide outstanding value.

Justin Thomas struggled last week, but overall he played well in 2025 and particularly in recent weeks. He has a win and runner-up finish in the last five tournaments.

Viktor Hovland was close to winning US Open, finished 3rd eventually. He won Valspar this year and since his form is improving.

Burns is ranked 19th in the world and over the last few events as played some of his best golf od the season 7th in the uS open and prior to that second in the Canada Open

Shane Lowry plays good golf this year. 4 top 10 finishes, 2 runner-ups. He had many top 20 appearances. Good course for him here. He will be in the mix.

Cameron Young showed a welcome return to form in recent tournaments culminating in a great showing at the US Open last week where a T-4 on the tough Oakmont course gave him his best result in a while. One of the best PGA Tour golfers yet to win on the tour, his time will surely come soon enough! Young E/W.

Sungjae Im played well at this tournament in 2024 finishing two shots off Scottie Scheffler's winning score toi te 3rd. The South Korean performed well in the early part of the US Open last week, but like most of the field, fell away over the weekend. He should enjoy the calmer waters of the Travelers this week. Ranks 3rd in SG Approach and enters in blistering form with two top-5s in his last three starts. His world-class iron play makes him a dangerous contender at long odds.

Akshay Bhatia finished 5th at Travelers Championship last year. The big value on him to repeat that. His form is good enough to like him in this spot.
