Marco Penge is sitting in 12th spot in the Race to Dubai rankings and arrives in good form with a recent win in the Hainan Open, which could see him do well this week in a wide-open field.

There looks to be some good value here with Alex Fitzpatrick, who I can see going well as he has been so consistent with 5 top 30 finishes in 7 and has the game to go even closer here this week.

9th back in 2022 at eight under par, and 8th a year later at six under. Missed this last year to make it three top ten finishes in a row, but comes here on good form. Finished 7th last week in the KML and was 2nd in the Turkish Airlines Open back in May.

Von Dellingshausen won in Austria at the start of this month. He finished third on this course on the Challenge Tour last year.

With 6 places up for grabs, I can see some good value with Oliver Lindell who has been progressing well and with 4 top 10 finishes in Italy should have a good week here again.

Edoardo Molinari currently has the top driving accuracy stats on the European Tour and could follow in his brother's footsteps with a win on home soil.

Runner up last month at the Soudal Open in Belgium and tied 26th last time out in the KLM Open in his homeland. Darius Van Driel ranked 7th for GIR and 5th for SG Approach that week in Holland and with his driving accuracy another box ticked this week, I fancy Argentario Golf Club will suit his eye and the Dutchman can play his way into contention.

17th last month at the Turkish Airlines Open, and the Italian did post a top ten earlier this season in the Dubai Desert Classic. Guido Migliozzi has made the last six cuts at the Italian Open, and I fancy the four-time DP World Tour winner will finally challenge in his national open. I am siding with the home favourite contending at Argentario Golf Club.

Andrea Pavan has two top ten finishes in his last four starts in the Italian Open, and I fancy a big week at home for the two-time DP World Tour winner. Four Top 20 finishes this year, including a 7th in the South African Open and 10th at the Hero Indian Open. I am siding with the Italian flying under the radar in his national open this week.

The Spaniard has three Top 20 finishes in his last four events and I fancy he won’t be too far away at Argentario Golf Club this week. Nacho Elvira was third in the Italian Open back in 2016 and after a tied 19th at the KLM Open last time out, I am siding with him putting four good days together in Southern Tuscany.

Celli finished 10th at his home Italian Open event last year, finishing two strokes behind being a top three European finisher.
