ISCO Championship Tips

Michael Thorbjornsen is close to winning his first tournament. He was 4th or better in 3 out of last 7 tournaments. Weaker field at ISCO Championship is a good spot to finally win.

Jackson Koivun makes his debut in this competition and will be looking to build on his 11th place last time out at the John Deere Classic.

11th place at the John Deere Classic last week despite poor putting. If Hoey scores better, he can win this tournament. Rico made winning bids in a few events in his short PGA career. This is the spot to win.

Cameron has been playing well of late with a top ten in the Canadian Open recently and shooting twelve under last week in the John Deere. So he looks primed to win soon.

The American was 11th last week at the John Deere Classic in Illinois, and I am backing he will have another good week in the ISCO Championship. Beau Hossler was 15th the last time he played this event, and with it being a weakened field, I can see him going very close at Hurstbourne Country Club.

Patrick Fishburn finished T18 last week at the John Deere Classic. He has a couple of top 6 finishes this year in tougher tournaments than ISCO. He also had a very good ending to the 2024 season. Clearly a player with winning potential on his best day.

This lad is going to be massive. I spotted him a few weeks ago and put him on my list to follow this season. Others have seen what a player he is. He will win loads and may start here.

Jackson Suber was close to winning Rocket Classic two weeks ago, finished T6, just 2 strokes behind the winner. He also had 18th finish at Canadian Open.

Takumi Kanaya's best performance this season was at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, where he finished in 5th place. His putting is what could set him apart from the rest in this lineup.

I'm very surprised to see Lipsky at such a high price after he played so well in the John Deere last weekend, finishing third, just a shot off the winner.

I feel this is a nice price on Trevor Cone. He was T3 at this tournament in 2023. This year he didn't play great, but the course he likes can build the right confidence.

I am going to look beyond the top of the market here and instead go with Callum Tarren as he has performed well on the DP tour and has stepped up to the PGA tour and played well with 4 top 15 finishes to date.

Michael Thorbjornsen is probably the most talented player in the field, and his form is very good. He was T4 at the Rocket Classic in a stronger field. I feel he wins this week.

Patrick Fishburn is as good as any other player at the ISCO Championship, but is priced in the second tier. The best guys are at the Scottish Open, and this week's America's event is open for most. Fishburn made some good efforts in tougher competitions last year. He might win it here.

Adam Schenk's best performances this year have been at the CJ Cup and Byron Nelson, where he was 5th and 6th, and at the Sony Open Hawaii. He should improve on his 15th place finish in this event in 2021.

Harry Higgs best performance this year was at the Myrtle Beach Classic where he finished in 2nd place. He can count on his putting and driving to ensure he overcomes his pair of missed cuts from his last two participations at this event.

Jackson Suber played his best golf in recent weeks. T18 and T6 in 2 of the last 3 tournaments. He did it in a way stronger company than this week's ISCO Championship.
