  • Season 43 of Survivor premiered on CBS on September 21, 2022
  • The CBS program was launched with Survivor: Borneo in 2000 and we have now followed the “survivors” in over 40 series. 
  • Castaways are marooned on a deserted island and compete in a series of challenges. 
  • Season 44 has already been confirmed and commissioned

Survivor Format

  • The “castaways” are divided into tribes and must survive the elements and avoid elimination. 
  • Once the tribes have been whittled down, one single tribe is set a range of individual challenges and survives or is sent home by the Tribal Council. 
  • After this, the remaining castaways battle it out to become the sole survivor and win the cash prize of $1,000,000.
