Betting On Americas Got Talent

Betting lines will be on offer and updated as AGT progresses over the weeks. 

Once contestants are eliminated from the auditions and we have a hardcore of acts going into the next AGT rounds the best betting sites will release their odds. 

The odds will then fluctuate with each live round and may be available with some sportsbooks.

You can naturally bet on the Americans Got Talent winner and that will be where the majority of wagers go, but certain books may offer

Betting On The AGT Winner

• This market is the most popular and if you get in early you will secure the biggest odds.
• Many of the eventual AGT winners were available at much bigger odds in the early rounds. 
• If you can pick up on what the Judges think about a particular singer, dancer, magician etc and place that bet early you can be sitting pretty come the AGT Final. 
• Remember the American public vote for their winner and have the opportunity to vote multiple times. 

To Make The Final 

Different seasons have varied on the number of finalists, but last year there were 10, as that worked well it is likely we can expect the same number this year.  

The odds will not be as good as betting on the outright winner but if you are convinced you have seen an act to make the final then this can be a safer angle for your dollars. 

Semi-Final Betting

There were 22 Semi-Finalists that were trimmed down to 10, so 12 acts went no further. 

Proposition Bets

Proposition Bets are wagers on something occurring or not occurring, they are often not related to the final outcome. 

For instance:

Will Simon Cowell use his AGT Golden Buzzer for a singer? OR Will any AGT episode get 7 million or more viewers?

When looking for this year's Americas Got Talent winner we should look back to previous seasons for any betting clues. 

Singers have the best record on AGT, they have won 7 of the 16 series including having the honour of winning the first-ever AGT when 11-year-old Bianca Ryan won the million-dollar prize.
