Overview

Join Tucker on his quest for self-control in the Suck slot from Shady Lady. Played on a 6x5 grid with Scatter Pays, help Tucker escape the endless temptation of the modern world at slot sites, from 10p per spin.

Wins lead to cascades, which give you another chance to win. Look out for giant Burger symbols, up to 5x5, which reveal mystery symbols. Hot sauce bottles can land and explode to award multipliers: all their values are combined and applied to wins.

In the Bonus feature, you head to a liposuction clinic where Tucker is connected to the Lipo-Suck Pro Pump: if you land on the green segment of the guage, a pump multiplier applies to your win. Reaching up to 10x, you can upgrade the pump multipliers up to 2000x. There is also a Gauge Upgrade symbol, which increases your chances of pump multipliers. In the ‘super’ version, there is a higher chance of pump multipliers, which can reach up to 9999x!

With a 96.06% RTP rate, Suck offers 20,000 x bet max wins: the free play version is available below. Not available to play for real money in the UK just yet, check out 500+ free demo slots which are available in the UK.

Slot Details

The Suck slot is played on a 6x5 grid with Scatter Pays payouts. A win is created when 8 or more of the same symbol appears anywhere on the grid. With 30 symbol positions on the 6x5 grid, you can form wins with multiple symbols: the highest payout per symbol is for 20+ matching symbols. To find out how the mechanic works, check out my guide to Scatter Pays slots.

With a 10p minimum bet per spin, the maximum bet is £50 a spin: however, it’s £5 per spin in the UK or £2 if you’re under 25. To change your bet, use the plus and minus buttons: alternatively, press/click the ‘Bet’ amount to see a screen of options. Players outside the UK have Turbo Mode and Autoplay functionality available.

The Suck RTP rate is 96.06%, with 63.1% coming from the base game and 32.96% from the bonus features. As expected, you may encounter 94% and 92% RTP alternative versions of the game (check within the Paytable).

High volatility (9/10), a win will form every 1 in 4.4 spins as the hit frequency rate is 22.67%. Triggering the free spins will occur every 1 in 282 spins with the average win 75.48 x your total bet. Suck benefits, like with all Shady Lady games, from 20,000 x bet max wins: there is no max win probability information.

With a food theme, the Suck slot is another humorous game from Shady Lady. The game revolves around Tucker, a character who struggles with self-control and the choices he makes as he cannot seem to resist temptation. With the game released in February, it’s perfectly timed for those who look to fulfil their New Year’s resolutions of living a healthier life.

The setting is a fast food joint (called Lip’s Burgers) where you’ll see Tucker at a table full of food and bad choices. Scruffy and dirty, he’s smoking whilst inhaling a giant burger. I like the fact that Shady Lady has added a fruit machine with a doctor playing Shady Lady’s Swoll. The soundtrack has an 80s feel to it oddly (which works though).

On the 6x5 grid, symbols include everything Tucker should result, such as cigarettes, beer bottle caps, salt shakers, lighters, fries, drumsticks, hot dogs and pizza slices. The pizza slice symbol is the best paying, awarding 100 x your total bet for 20 or more anywhere on the grid.

Look out for a giant Burger symbol which can vary in size from 2x2 up to 5x5. Revealing a random mystery symbol, other symbols include hot sauce bottles and a Bonus Scatter: more on these below.

Suck Mobile

Shady Lady, like all other slot studios, uses HTML5 technology to create their games. Available to play on desktop, mobile and tablet devices, Suck is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, in Portrait Mode. Whilst most of us play on our mobile devices, I prefer a laptop or PC to gain the full experience.

Bonus Features

Suck benefits from cascading wins, a giant Burger symbol that awards mystery symbols and hot sauce multipliers. In the free spins, landing in the green segment of the gauge will apply pump multipliers to your wins: these can reach 9999x in the ‘super’ version.

Cascade

When you land 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid, the Cascade feature kicks in. Winning symbols are removed from the grid, with the remaining symbols dropping down to fill the empty positions. New symbols then drop in from above, giving you another chance to land another win. The process continues until no more new wins are formed.

Life on a Plate

In the base game, a giant Burger symbol can appear on the grid at any time. Varying in size from 2x2 up to 5x5, it will reveal a random mystery symbol (one of the paying symbols).

Furthermore, a random number of hot sauce bottles can also appear: they can also be revealed behind the burger. Hot sauce bottles can explode after any cascade is no further wins appear on the grid.

When hot sauce bottles explode, they spread hot sauce in a random linear pattern across the grid. Hot sauce positions may contain multipliers or appear empty. Empty hot sauce positions are removed and trigger a cascade. Hot sauce multipliers are collected at the end of the spin, added together and applied to your total win. If a hot sauce bottle doesn’t explode, they can re-activate if extra cascades are triggered after the failed explosion.

Bonus

The Bonus feature is played by landing 3 Bonus Scatter symbols anywhere on the grid. With 6 free spins awarded, the setting a liposuction clinic where you’ll see Tucker with just his boxers on. Still smoking and munching on his burger, he’s connected to the Lipo-Suck Pro Pump. After every free spin, the gauge connected to the pump spins: if it lands within the green segment, it will be activated. The pump has 4 levels, each with an associated multiplier:

  • Level 1: 2x
  • Level 2: 3x
  • Level 3: 5x
  • Level 4: 10x

When activated, the pump ‘sucks fat’ until a random level is reached, with the corresponding multiplier applied to the win on that free spin. When a Multiplier Upgrade symbol lands, multipliers are upgraded: the Multiplier Upgrade symbol increases pump multiplier values between 2 and 5 with the maximum being:

  • Level 1: 10x
  • Level 2: 100x
  • Level 3: 500x
  • Level 4: 2000x

Additionally, 2 other special symbols can appear during the free spins:

  • Extra Spin symbol: represented by a defibrillator, it rewards you with 1 additional free spin.
  • Gauge Upgrade Symbol: is collected and increases the activation area of the gauge, making pump activation more likely.

Super Bonus

Suck slot Super Bonus feature screenshot

When 4 Bonus Scatters land simultaneously during the base game, you’ll trigger the Super Bonus feature, with 8 free spins. Like the regular Bonus feature, there are some extras.

The pump activation area only resets on a pump multiplier win, meaning gauge upgrades carry over between free spins. Finally, the multiplier caps for each pump level can increase to:

  • Level 1: 20x
  • Level 2: 200x
  • Level 3: 1000x
  • Level 4: 9999x

Shady Lady’s 10th release, the Suck slot focuses on plenty of New Year’s resolutions where you aim to live healthier but it all falls apart shortly after. With character Tucker at the heart of things, it’s clear his life is in a mess as he’s making the wrong choices when it comes to eating and smoking.

When you land bigger wins, Tucker’s wife texts him telling him to get home, that he’s getting fat, she’s leaving him, to get liposuction and to choose between her and the burgers (amongst other messages).

In the base game, there are cascading reels and a mystery reveal mechanic where a giant Burger up to 5x5 in size reveals a randomly chosen paying symbol. The key are the hot sauce bottles as these can explode to reveal multipliers: multiple hot sauce bottles will see their multipliers added up and applied to the win.

In the free spins, Tucker’s life is in crisis as you are taken inside a liposuction clinic. Connected to the Lipo-Suck Pro Pump, the gauge landing within the green segment will activate the pump with a possible multiplier up to 10x. The key is the Multiplier Upgrade symbol as these can upgrade pump multipliers up to 2000x.

I also found the Gauge Upgrade symbol to be important as it increases the gauge activation area, making it easier to trigger the pump multipliers. The ‘super’ free spins works the same but gauge upgrades are carried over between free spins until you land a pump multiplier win: also, the pump multiplier can reach up to 9999x. In theory, you want to build up the pump multipliers before landing a win.

With 20,000 x bet max wins, the Suck slot game focuses on cascading wins, mystery symbols with hot sauce multipliers in the base game and free spins where wins are subject to pump multipliers that can rise up to 9999x. Weird and yet appropriate in today’s world, it mirrors the pressures of society: I found myself enjoying the tirade of abuse from Tucker’s wife.

All in all, the Suck slot mirror’s the pressures a man faces in modern day society. Whilst the gameplay is simple and not unique, Shady Lady has managed to combine the various features cleverly to make it appealing whilst adding their signature humorous style.

If you like the inspiration, Nolimit City’s Gluttony is about a ‘Fat Bastard’ who aims to eat as much as humanly possible but with no remorse. Want more food-themed slots? My guide highlights 10 top options including the candy-filled word of Sweet Bonanza (Pragmatic Play) and Big Time Gaming’s Burgers (with 102,840 x bet max wins).

If it’s humorous-inspired slots you’re after, Shady Lady offers these in abundance: Black Friday pokes fun at the chaotic shopping day whilst Office Party sees you join a Friday night office party where all employees have been laid off.
