Released on the 9^th of July 2024, the Punk Rocker 2 slot is the sequel to Punk Rocker (released in February 2020). With a punk/rock music theme, this game takes place in New York as opposed to London with graffiti dominating graphically. Offering the same ethos as the original game, the policy is to f**k conformity (according to NLC).

Inspired by New York’s punk rock scene in the early 1970s, Nolimit City takes you to the streets where the reels are set outside the Wall Street subway station. With the Empire State Building and Flatiron Building in the backdrop, graffiti is plastered against the walls to the side of the reels. The soundtrack as you’d expect is rocking and may require the mute button if it’s not your thing.  

On the reels, low-value symbols include Bovver boots, knuckle dusters, spiked apples, Molotov cocktails and anarchy signs. The higher-value symbols are represented by pop art-style characters including Abraham Lincoln, Jack Nicholson, the Statue of Liberty, Ronald Reagan and an Uncle Sam-inspired Monkey. The Uncle Sam Monkey pays the most with 4 times your total bet for 6 in combination.

Punk Rocker 2 has several special symbols including xWays, Molotov and Pipe Bomb Wilds and the Bonus Scatter. With the latter triggering various bonus features, the free spins come with Jumping Wilds and Burning Jumping Wilds. Punk Rocker 2 Mobile

With 9 bonus features, Punk Rocker 2 comes with xWays for up to 46,656 ways to win and Molotov Wilds. There are new Pipe Bomb Wilds which add Pipe Bomb Wilds above. In the Riot Spins, there are sticky Molotov Wilds are extra respins to be won. Finally, there are 3 free spins features with Top and Bottom Train Enhancers including extra free spins, wild multipliers, xWays, Molotov Wilds, 6-high reels, Burning Jumping Wilds and feature upgrades.

xWays 

As with many Nolimit City slots including its predecessor, Punk Rocker, an xWays symbol will hold 2 to 4 of the same symbol inside with all xWays symbols revealing the same symbol.

When an xWays symbol appears in the base game, it expands to 4 high which can be super expanded up to 20 high. In the free spins features, they will expand to 4 high and contain 4, 6 or 8 of the same symbol. There are up to 46,656 ways to win in total.

Molotov & Pipe Bomb Wilds

The Molotov Wild symbol transforms all positions above it into wilds and can land in the base game, Riot Spins feature and can be activated during the free spins features. It substitutes for all paying symbols.

There is a skull biting a Molotov Cocktail which is the Molotov Wild and the game’s wild symbol. Substituting for all paying symbols when part of a win, Molotov Wilds appear in the base game and the Rio Respin feature (more details just below). When they appear, they transform all positions above into wilds.

Newly added, there is a Pipe Bomb Wild symbol which also substitutes for paying symbols. They contain 2 to 4 wild symbols and turn all positions above into Pipe Bomb Wilds of the same size. Pipe Bomb Wilds can land during the base game and Riot Spins feature.

Riot Spins

Seeing 2 Bonus Scatters during the base game will activate the Riot Spins feature. The Bonus Scatters transform into sticky Molotov Wilds that remain in position. With all wilds locking in place,  a respin is awarded. New Bonus Scatters landing will reward you with an extra respin as well as transforming into sticky Molotov Wilds.

Free Spins

The Punk Rocker 2 slot game comes with 3 free spins features. The setting is the Wall Street subway station which is covered in graffiti and has a Charging Bull statue (with graffiti on it of course). With more details below, they are triggered when landing 3 or more Bonus Scatters anywhere on the reels:

• DisOBEY Spins: triggered by landing 3 Bonus Scatters, you’ll get 8 free spins with 3 Jumping Wilds and the Top Train Enhancer.
• ChAos Spins: triggered by landing 4 Bonus Scatters, you’ll receive 8 free spins with 4 Jumping Wilds and both Train Enhancers.
• Mass Transit BBQ Spins: triggered by seeing 5 Bonus Scatters simultaneously, you’ll get 8 free spins with 4 Jumping Wilds and both top and bottom Train Enhancers. Additionally, the Burning Cart stops on every free spin.

As in the original game, triggering Bonus Scatters change to Jumping Wilds which change positions between each free spin. Nolimit City has added Burning Jumping Wilds which also move position between free spins.

All Wild Multiplier enhancers triggered by Burning Jumping Wilds are persistent during the remainder of the feature with wild multiplier values additive.

Train Enhancers

You will see Train Enhancers above and below the reels during the 3 free spins features. They are activated when a Jumping Wild or Burning Jumping Wild appears on the same reel. Here is what each of the Train Enhancers offers:

• Top Train Enhancers: Wild Multiplier, xWays, Molotov Wilds, Extra Free Spins, All Reels become 6 symbols high, a feature upgrade and enabling the Bottom Train Enhancer
• Bottom Train Enhancers: Wild Multiplier, Extra Free Spins and Burning Jumping Wilds

Now, if a Burning Cart in the Train Enhancer contains a Burning Jumping Wild, it converts all Jumping Wilds into Burning Jumping Wilds on that reel. As specified above, Wild Multipliers are added together.

Nolimit Booster

For a cost of 2 times your total bet, you can opt for the Nolimit Booster feature. If enabled, you are guaranteed a Bonus Scatter, xWays, Super xWays, Molotov Wild or Pipe Bomb Wild on reel 2. The RTP increases slightly to 96.16% (for the highest 96.07% RTP setting).

Nolimit Bonus

The Punk Rocker 2 slot follows on nicely from the first outing. Set in New York, Nolimit City has kept the ethos and spirit of the original game with more chaotic and anarchic action. Played with 6 reels as opposed to 5, the base game remains more or less the same with xWays and Molotov Wilds.

NLC has added Pipe Bomb Wilds which contains up to 4 wilds as well as transforming positions above into Pipe Bomb Wilds. The Riot Spins feature is similar to the Riot Respin feature but new Bonus Scatters give you additional respins and more sticky Molotov Wilds.

With an extra free spins feature, all come with the new Burning Jumping Wild symbol which holds onto their multipliers until the end of the feature. 2 of the features come with top and bottom Train Enhancers.

Activated when a Jumping Wild or Burning Jumping Wild lands on the same reel, rewards include Wild Multipliers, xWays, Molotov Wilds, more free spins, 6-high reels and feature upgrades.
