Kill Em All Slot (Nolimit City)

The Kill Em All slot is played with 3 reels and just 1 payline. Unusually, you don’t need matching symbols to form winning combinations. It uses a Hack & Slash feature with every symbol triggering a respin (except the Shield X symbol): more information can be found below in the Bonus features section.

Bets-wise, the minimum bet is 20p a spin (with the maximum up to £5 in the UK). As with all Nolimit City slots, press or click the ‘Coins’ icon to see all available options. In terms of returns, the Kill Em All RTP rate is 96.06%: 66.88% is reserved for the base game with 29.18% for the bonus features. Referred to by Nolimit City as ‘Total Annihilation’, the max win probability (i.e. your chances of landing the maximum win) is 1 in 350,000 spins (for the 96.06% RTP version). Winning 100 times your total bet or higher will occur every 1 in 792 spins on average.

With a horror theme, the Kill Em All slot takes you to the dark depths of the dungeons where you aim to slay the beast and claim what is rightfully yours. Dark and creepy, the first thing you’ll notice is the soundtrack which is intense and has a techno feel.

With a monster appearing above the 3 reel, 1 payline setup, it has a similar feel to Munchies. On the reels, weapons and shield symbols appear. As you’ll discover below, all symbols trigger a respin. Other symbols that can land are the Bonus and Super Bonus symbols which are key to triggering Kill Em All’s main bonus features (more on this below).

Kill Em All Mobile

The Kill Em All slot has more bonus features than any other Nolimit City game! Weapons land on the single payline deliver hits to monsters, who (when they die) award treasure chests that give you various extras. Go on a roll and take on boss monsters, who (when killed) award Level Up extras. All these features apply in the 2 free spins features where up to 4 Level Up features can be in play at once.

Hack & Slash

With 3 reels and 1 payline, there are no traditional winning combinations as such. Known as the Hack & Slash feature, every symbol that lands will award a respin. This doesn’t apply to shield symbols. However, if 3 non-shield symbols appear on the same spin, 5 respins will be granted.

Weapon symbols on the reels will then hit the monster and reduce the monster’s life by 1. Each weapon symbol contains it’s own hit value (which counts as the number of hits to the monster):

• Blue Apocalypse Spearhead: 1 hit
• Green Knife: 2 hits
• Yellow Sword: 3 hits
• Red Axe: 4 hits

If a monster has fewer lives than the hit value of a particular weapon, the remaining hits will not be carried over the next monster in the queue. Weapon symbol can random award a critical hit: this removes 3 lives from a monster (or less if it has fewer lives).

Monsters

Importantly, you will see a trail of monsters appearing in a queue (above the monster). On each spin, you’ll face 1 monster at a time.

As mentioned, each monster has a certain number of lives which is indicated by hearts (or lives). The monster will die if it loses all lives and awards 1 or more treasure chests.

If the monster appears 4^th, 8^th or 12^th in the queue, the monster will be a boss. When you kill a boss monster, you’ll be rewarded with a Level Up feature in addition to treasure chests.

Chest Features

Every treasure chest will reward you with a payout. There are 4 different treasure chests with the following payouts:

Furthermore, they may award a Chest feature. They are as follows:

• Multiplier: Multiplies the win by 2-5x.
• Respin/Free Spin: Adds +2 Respins in base game or +2 free spins in Dungeon Smackdown Spins/Dungeon Domination Spins features.
• Scatter & Super Scatter: Gets collected in the bonus inventory and behaves same way as they do after landing in base game.
• Chest Upgrade: Upgrades the treasure chest to a higher level.
• Double Chests: The treasure chest which contains 2 treasure chests of same level.
• Shrink Potion: Sets the next monster’s total life to 1.
• Silver Sword: Awards a win between 1-15 x your total bet every time it hits the monster, until the next monster is killed.

Level Up features

Level Up extras are awarded by boss monsters. Remaining persistent throughout the round, you can benefit from up to 3 Level Up features at once (or 4 in the Dungeon Domination Spins feature). However, only 2 of the same can appear simultaneously. They are as follows:

• Sticky Multiplier: The sticky multiplier has a value of 2-5x, the multiplier value applies to the payout of current and upcoming spins. If there are 2 sticky multipliers in the inventory, their values are summed up before being applied.
• Extra Chests: You’re awarded an additional treasure chest when a monster is killed.
• Weapon Upgrade: Every time the weapon upgrade symbol appears, all weapons level up by 1. The maximum level is 4.
• Chest Upgrade: Upgrades all treasure chests to a higher value.
• Golden Sword: Awards a win between 1-15 x your total bet every time it hits a monster, whether the monster is killed or not.
• Attack, Attack, Attack!!: The monster gets a hit every time this symbol appears.

Dungeon Smackdown Spins

The Dungeon Smackdown Spins feature is triggered by land 3 Scatter symbols: 5 free spins are awarded. Progressions and features from the base game will be carried over, which are persistent throughout the feature. Each time a weapon symbol lands, an extra free spin is awarded.

Dungeon Domination Spins

The Dungeon Domination Spins feature is activated when you land 2 Scatters plus 1 Super Scatter in the base game. Importantly up to 4 Level Up features can apply. With 5 free spins awarded, progressions and features from the base game will be carried over, which remain persistent throughout the feature. Each time a weapon symbol lands, an extra free spin is awarded.

Extra Spin

As in the Highway to Hell slot, there is an Extra Spin feature. This gives you the opportunity to buy an extra free spin with the same state from the previous spin. The cost is calculated based on the number of monsters killed. This option only appears if the cost of the Extra Spin is less than or equal to the win on the previous spin.

Nolimit Booster

All Nolimit City slots come with a Nolimit Booster feature. With 4 options, you’ll find details below of what they entail:

• Bonus Symbol: Costing 2.2 x bet, you are guaranteed 1 Scatter symbol in the bonus inventory. The RTP rate is 96.07%.
• Super Bonus Symbol: Costing 4 x bet, you are guaranteed 1 Super Scatter symbol in the bonus inventory. The RTP rate is 96.12%.
• Boss Fight: Costing 15 x bet, you are guaranteed 1 spin that begins with the 1^st boss with 1 life. The RTP rate is 96.07%.

A unique game for sure, the Kill Em All slot is about landing weapon symbols on the single payline. They delivers ‘hits’ to the monster and award a free respin for another chance of landing weapons. As long as weapons land, the respins continue.

If you kill a monster, you’ll be rewarded with a treasure chest: the gold/red ones are worth up to 2,500 x bet. Treasure chests can also trigger an array of modifiers including multipliers, extra respins, Scatter or Super Scatter symbol, treasure chest upgrades, double chests, silver sword prizes and monster total life reductions.

Then you have the boss monsters which can award Level Up features including sticky multipliers, extra treasure chests, weapon upgrades, chest upgrades, golden sword hits and attacks on the monster.

All these extras apply in the 2 free spins features with up to 4 Level Up extras applying in the Dungeon Domination Spins feature. Once you’ve caught your breath, you’ll realise Kill Em All is about landing weapon symbol continuously to kill monsters, open treasure chests and trigger Chest and Level Up features.

When it comes to Chest features, I found the multiplier, chest upgrade, shrink potion and silver sword extras to be the most lucrative. In terms of Leve Up features, chest upgrade, golden sword and sticky multiplier extras the best.

All in all, the Kill Em All slot is like Munchies: a marmite game you’ll either love or hate. I found it rather confusing at first but it soon became simple with a few dozen demo spins. That said, I prefer more complex games with much more backstory such as Tombstone Slaughter, Kenneth Must Die or San Quentin 2: Death Row.

Finally, it comes with 11,916 x bet max win potential which isn’t the highest but the max win probability is 1 in 350,000 spins which is a reasonable trade-off.
