Modifier Corners

The corners of the grid of have 4 empty special spots. At every spin, a random number of modifier symbols can be hit randomly in these special spots. In the base game, only 1 modifier of the same type can hit on the spin. The modifiers are as follows:

• Direct Money Award: it hits with a random amount of money written on it and the amount is instantly won. Possible values range between 2x and 50x the bet.
• Win Multiplier: It hits with a random multiplier written on it that applies to all symbol wins on that particular spin. If more multipliers are present on the same spin, they are added to each other. Possible multiplier values range between 2x and 100x.
• Add Wilds: When this hits, 2 to 8 Wilds are randomly added to random positions on the screen
• Big Wild: when this hits, it adds a random 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 expanding wild symbol in a random potion on the screen.

Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 scatters triggers the free spins bonus round and awards 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 free spins, respectively. During the free spins, up to 4 modifiers of the same type can hit on the same spin. Except for the big wild modifiers, only 2 can hit on the same spin. Another modifier can appear in the free spins round.

If the ‘golden free spins’ are triggered, before the round starts, a random modifier is selected to be guaranteed to appear in a random corner at every free spin during the subsequent round as a 3rd guaranteed modifier. The creatives are bright and cheerful, which will appeal to many players as it’s a light-hearted slot. I did enjoy the modifier corners feature— it's fun to keep an eye on the 4 corners of the grid and see what surprises pop up, especially when it's random multipliers or big wilds. 

However, the bonus rounds felt fairly standard and didn’t stand out compared to other sweet-themed slots, especially other popular titles that Pragmatic Play has released in the past.
