Now that I've written about the summary, intro, graphics, music, and sound effects, up next will be the key game features.
At OLBG we create slot game reviews that include up-to-date info about essential features such as the theme, paylines, reels, bet range, and bonuses. I’ll round off the review by talking about my play experience, first impressions and expert verdict.
Theme - Fishing
The jolly fisherman is suited and booted up in his overalls again, searching for the best catch. He's at sea for this game rather than a lake or a river, and he's casting his huge net down into the waves. The adventure is taking place at sundown, and the orange hues give a glow across gameplay.
You'll see the usual underwater scene on the grid, complete with bubbles, weeds and fish darting around in the blue water. The special symbols in order from the highest value first are a boat, fishing rod, dragonfly, and a tackle box. The standard symbols of A, K, Q, J and 10 then follow these.
Reels
The Big Bass Floats My Boat slot game is made up of 5 reels with 3 rows.
Paylines
There are 10 non-adjustable paylines to play with for the Big Bass Floats My Boat slot game.
RTP
Return to Player is most commonly referred to as RTP on slot sites. It's a way of measuring theoretically what percentage of players' stakes will be returned to them over the long term. Obviously, the higher the RTP rate - the better it is for players. RTP should be around 96% or more. Big Bass Floats My Boat is just over the average at 96.07%.
Pragmatic Play uses this RTP figure as a default value so if you shop around various slot sites you’ll discover different rates. However, to save you time, we’ve identified a few at some of the popular UK online casinos and added them to our table below.
RTP is just one consideration when deciding which site to to play at. You should also think about payment options, game library, customer support and welcome bonuses and deals. Our casino reviews look at this information plus much more.

Wild Shape
The wild is depicted by the FIsherman Wild for this game. It can appear on all reels during the Free Spins round and substitutes for all symbols expect the Scatter and Money symbol.
Free Spins
Landing 3 - 4 Scatters will trigger the Free Spins bonus round. Here, you'll receive 10 - 20 free spins. During the base game, if 2 Scatters land, there is a chance to land a third by random feature. Randomly, if the Scatter symbols move down one position without reeling the reel area, a respin is triggered, whereas with Scatters, move one position down, the reels without Scatters respin. Also, an octopus can again randomly appear and change one symbol on the screen into a scatter.
During the Free Spins feature, each Fisherman Wild also collects all of the values from Money symbols on the screen. During the Free Spins round, each position on the grid of symbols has a multiplier that starts from 1x. Every time the money symbol hits that position, the multiplier for that position is increased by x1. Every time the Fisherman Wild collects a Money symbol value, it is first multiplied by the supplier of the position it is in. All of the Fisherman Wild symbols that hit during the feature are collected until the end of the round. Everuyth 4th Fisherman Wild symbol collected retriggers the feature and awards 10 more spins.
Play Experience & First Impressions
The octopus was an added feature to the Free Spins round, and it looked impressive on the screen. It randomly triggers and popped up three times when testing this game. It works well by turning one symbol on the screen into a scatter. There are several layers to the Free Spins round, including the fact that each time a Fisherman Wild collects a Money symbol value, it is first multiplied by the supplier of its position. You can see the Fisherman Wilds at the top of the screen on the progress board which looks good visually. Plus, all of the Fisherman Wild symbols that hit during the feature are collected until the end of the round, so this is pretty good going.
The Money symbol is a tried and tested element of the Big Bass games. How it works is that during every spin there are money symbols; the Money symbols take a random money value. The values range between 0.2 x - 50x your stake. And randomly, after a base game spin, there is a chance that the values of the Money symbols on the screen are collected and rewarded. When that happens, a random multiplier can appear on the money symbols that will multiply their value. The Multipliers range between 2x - 50x, so this can make a difference at the higher end of the scale.
