The higher-value ones include blue water, green plant and red fire symbols as well as 3 masks. The red mask symbol pays the most awarding 16 times your total bet for 15 anywhere on the grid.

Look out for the Wild symbol as this substitutes for all paying symbols above. Atlantis Crush has a range of special symbols which appear in the top 2 rows of the grid. Atlantis Crush slot comes with 7 bonus features. With regular cascades, winning symbols activate Block symbols which award free spins, increase the win multiplier up to 500x and add the same kind of symbol onto the bottom grid. These all combine in the 2 free spins features with the win multiplier only increasing for wins of up to 10,000 times bet.

Cascades

As is the case with most Scatter Pays slots, every winning combination triggers the Cascades feature. Winning symbols are destroyed with the symbols present on the grid falling down to occupy the vacated positions. Then new symbols cascade/drop in from above to fill all spaces. If you land another win, the process repeats itself. This continues until no more new wins are created.

Block Symbols

In the top 2 rows of the grid, Block symbols will appear. These are activated by having a winning paying symbol under itself or by the effect of another activated Block symbol. The special symbols that can land include:

• Empty Block: This has no effect.
• Horizontal Destroyer: Activates and destroys all symbols in its row.
• Vertical Destroyer: Activates and destroys all symbols in its column.
• Diagonal Destroyer: Activates and destroys its corner symbols.
• Bonus Block: The Free Spin counter increases by the number displayed on the Bonus Block.
• Multiplier Block: Increases the win multiplier by the number displayed on the Multiplier Block. Values range from 2x up to 500x and applies to wins from the current spin/cascade.
• Fire Gem Block: All red, fire-class symbols on the grid are destroyed and only the same kind of symbols drop in the following cascade.
• Water Gem Block: All blue, water-class symbols on the grid are destroyed with only the same kind of symbols drop in the following cascade.
• Plant Gem Block: All green plant-class symbols on the grid are destroyed with only the same kind of symbols drop in the following cascade. 

Destroy All Paying Symbols

If all paying symbols are destroyed in the same cascade, The Destroy All Paying Symbols feature is triggered. In the following cascade, all paying symbols will be of the same kind (i.e. red, green or blue).

Destroy All Blocks

The Destroy All Blocks feature is activated when all Block symbols are destroyed in the same cascade. For the rest of that spin and subsequent cascades, only Multiplier, Bonus and Gem Blocks will appear.

Free Spins

The Atlantis Crush slot game comes with a Free Spins feature. It’s triggered when 3 or more Bonus Blocks land. If you take the sum of all numbers of the triggering Bonus Blocks, that will be your free spins tally.

More importantly, the base game’s win multiplier is transferred over and will not reset during the feature. When Bonus Blocks are activated, their value will increase the free spins tally.

Super Free Spins

The Atlantis Crush slot isn’t your typical Scatter Pays game. For starters, the grid is broken up into 2 areas with the top area containing Block symbols and the bottom area displaying only paying symbols (and Wilds).

With cascades awarding successive wins, keep an eye on block symbols at the top of the grid. Activated by winning symbols below or from another Block symbol, I found the Multiplier Block the most lucrative as a multiplier up to 500x can apply to the current cascade/spin. The 3 Gem Blocks will see symbols of the same colour destroyed and only the same kind dropping in the next cascade which will increase your chances of landing wins.

If you manage to destroy all Block symbols on the same cascade, you’ll play only Multiplier, Gem and Bonus Blocks on the next spin and following cascades. When 3 or more Bonus Blocks appear, you’ll play the Free Spins or Super Free Spins feature with the win multiplier from the base game transferring over.

In the Super Free Spins feature, only Multiplier, Bonus and Gem Blocks appear in the Blocks area which will dramatically increase your chances of a big payout.

With 10,000 times bet max wins, Relax Gaming has created a unique Scatter Pays slot game where the various Block symbols can combine and interact for huge wins. Although the bigger win multipliers will be hard to land, building the win multiplier in the 2 free spins features is key to a big win.

In summary, the Atlantis Crush slot is a well-designed game which is compelling and can dish out crushing wins if the Block symbols work their magic and combine to increase the win multiplier and add the same type of symbols on the grid.
