For months it was a case of 'Will They, Won't They' in regards to LadBaby attempting 4 consecutive Christmas Number hit records, to surpass The Spice Girls three-in-a-row and equal The Beatles with their for chart-toppers on Christmas Day.
But with the support of Elton John and Ed Sheeren who were also competing for the top spot, LadBaby once again rose to the top with their charity single themed on Britain's favourite sausage-based snack, released 'Sausage Rolls for Everyone' and broke records.
The question is now, Will they go for an all-conquering 5 on the trot?
Well, betting sites are taking no chances and predicting a 40% chance of the couple once again recording and releasing a festive chart-topper for charity they are offering odds of just 6/4 in the 2022 Xmas number one Betting
One might think that the novelty of Ladbaby might be wearing off, especially given the amount of negativity angled at the pair on social media which has been well documented, but their spirits will have been raised with news of 136,000 sales of the single in the first week of release to put it at the top of the charts and raise a great sum for their nominated charity into the bargain.
It was pretty obvious it was going to happen when the odds crashed on their chance very quickly after the announcement of the release.
Year | Christmas Number 1 | Artist | Sales |
---|---|---|---|
2022 | ??? | ??? | ??? |
2021 | Sausage Rolls For Everyone | LadBaby | 136000***

Quite what stunts might have to be pulled to grab a 5th number 1, we can only speculate for the time being, but given the inclusion of two huge stars this year, perhaps for a fifth, we cold see Ladbaby building a BandAid style conglomerate of talent to ensure and secure the record breaker.
We are now in search of odds on who they may look to team up with in 2022, and will bring you some odds as soon as we have a shortlist.
