Henrietta Harrison is the 13/8 favourite to win this year's Wolfson History Prize
The six person shortlist for this year's Wolfson History Prize was announced earlier this month and bookmakers are now offering odds on who will win the prestigious award.
The Wolfson History Prize is given annually in the United Kingdom to promote standards of excellence in the writing of history for the general public with a shortlist chosen before picking an overall winner.
Betting odds are now given for the award with British historian Henrietta Harrison the 13/8 favourite to win the prize for her latest book The Perils of Interpreting which takes a look at the 1793 British embassy to China.
Those odds suggest that there's a 38% chance of Harrison winning the award just ahead of second favourite Halik Kochanski in the betting market.
