Alan Halsall now 2/1 favourite to head into the jungle later this year
Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall is now the 2/1 favourite with UK Betting Sites to be a contestant on this year's series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! which will likely kick off in November.
Halsall is famous for playing Tyrone Dobbs in Coronation Street, a role that he has portrayed since way back in 1998, and now it may well be that he heads into the jungle.
Reports in The Sun back in July last year said that Halsall was at the top of the list for last year's I'm A Celeb saying that talks were ongoing for him to appear on the show.
That didn't come to fruition though with no appearance Down Under last year but fast forward to next year's series and he may go into the jungle with William Hill putting him as 2/1 favourite to appear.

What the expert says...
Darts legend Phil Taylor told OLBG that he'd be willing to enter next year's I'm A Celeb in an interview back in December.
Phil 'The Power' Taylor retired from professional Darts after the 2018 World Championship and he will fully retire from Senior Darts at the end of this year.
This could be perfect timing for an appearance on I'm A Celebrity and The Power spoke to OLBG about Darts and his personal life with his hat now thrown firmly into the ring to appear in the jungle.
When asked by OLBG if he could head Down Under, Taylor said, "Yeah, I’d be open to it. We’ve got to talk, obviously. But Bob (his manager) will sort all that out. I mean I don’t find any challenges in there for what I couldn’t do."

Sam Thompson was the winner of last year's I'm A Celebrity
Former Made In Chelsea star turned podcaster Sam Thompson was the winner of I'm A Celebrity last month after beating Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage in the final.
Thompson's odds slowly moved him down into favourite by the second week as the public warmed to him leading to him eventually becoming the winner.
Zara McDermott, girlfriend on Thompson, is now 7/1 to copy her boyfriend and head Down Under into the I'm A Celebrity jungle later this year.
