Bookies make it 9/5 that GB News stops broadcasting in 2023 or 2024

Bookies are giving odds on when GB News will stop broadcasting with odds of 9/5 that it happens in 2023 or 2024.

The channel, owned by All Perspectives Ltd, has been broadcasting since 13th June 2021 and Smarkets give odds on how long it will stay on the air.

Those 15 months have been a rollercoaster ride for the channel with tech issues, advertisers pulling out and more.

When will GB News stop broadcasting? Odds Probability
2022 11/1 8.3%
2023 or 2024 9/5 35.7%
2025 or Later 1/3 75.0%

The channel's linear ratings aren't rivalling BBC News or Sky News but reports say that channel bosses are happy with the social presence the channel has.

There have been no Ofcom rulings against the channel yet either which can only be a positive.

Betting sites give a 35% chance that GB News stops broadcasting in 2023 or 2024 with odds of 9/5 that it happens.

The channel to keep broadcasting until 2025 or even later than that is 1/3

Bookies say that GB News will carry on broadcasting until at least 2025 with a 75% chance according to the odds.

At 1/3, that is the shortest odds available in the market and good news for fans of GB News.

It looks increasingly likely that there will be no change to GB News' broadcasting in the next few months at least.

GB News has had its fair share of controversy in the last 12 months

Flagship presenter Andrew Neil left the channel just three months after the launch due to health reasons.

Neil described his time with GB News as "the worst months of my life" and that it would have "killed" him if he carried on.

Prank names have been used frequently on the show by viewers and tech issues have plagued the channel too.

GB News has had its fair share of controversy over the first 15 months of the channel but in recent months the tech issues and such seem to have improved.
