Social Media platform Threads launched two weeks ago today and UK Betting Sites are offering various special odds on how the platform will perform for the rest of the year.
The latest betting odds are at 3/1 that Threads exceeds Twitter's total users with the new Meta platform having more than 115m users in its first two weeks according to Quiver Quantitive.
Twitter's total users sit at around 353m according to BankMyCell so Threads is around a third of the way there to eclipsing Twitter in just a short space of time with the app not available around most of Europe yet.
Betway say that there's a 25% chance that Threads takes over from Twitter's total users with the latest betting odds saying that there's a decent chance of it happening.
Threads needs to retain its users though with reports saying that the platform's total daily users has dropped down to 23m in the past week.
