Helen Skelton is now into 11/8 to win Strictly Come Dancing with bookies shortening odds

Another week of Strictly Come Dancing is done and bookies have now shortened Helen Skelton's odds to win the show to 6/4 now following another strong performance.

Skelton finished joint top of the leaderboard on Friday night's show after a superb Couple's Choice saw judges give her a score of 39.

William Hill have seen her consistent scoring, beating favourite Hamza in two of the last three weeks, and now given her a 42% chance of winning the show.

Strictly Come Dancing Winner Odds Probability
Hamza Yassin 8/13 61.9%
Helen Skelton 11/8 42.1%
Will Mellor 16/1 5.9%
Fleur East 25/1 3.8%
Molly Rainford 66/1 1.5%

It looks a two horse race in the betting market to win Strictly now with Will Mellor third favourite at 16/1 with just a 5% chance of winning the show according to the odds.

Helen Skelton has beat Hamza Yassin in 2 of the last 3 weeks on the leaderboard and this has seen her odds shorten to just 11/8 to win the show now! Hamza's odds have drifted too with a neck and neck battle expected for the winner of this year's Strictly!

Hamza Yassin on the drift as he comes into 8/13 from 1/4 to win show

Wildlife cameraman and presenter Hamza Yassin remains the favourite to win this year's Strictly but his odds have drifted in the past week.

This time last week, bookies were giving Yassin a 75% chance of winning Strictly and it looked like there was no chance of anyone else topping the market.

Fast forward seven days later though and he now has dropped to a 61% chance of winning the show with Skelton's odds getting shorter day-by-day.

Kym Marsh latest celebrity to leave on Saturday night

After missing a week due to Covid, Kym Marsh was eliminated from the show in her first week back after being the lowest scorer with 34 points.

With just the semi-final and final left of the show, Marsh will be gutted to leave with it being so close to the end.

Last week's Strictly was aired on Friday to avoid clashes with the World Cup and it will be the same this weekend with the show set to air on Sunday night.

This is due to England playing in their Quarter-Final tie against France on Saturday evening.

Kym Marsh was the latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing with her score of 34 the lowest on the night. The show aired on Friday night last week due to clashes with the World Cup and will air on Sunday this week for the same reason!
