Romeo Lavia is now odds-on at 10/11 to sign for Liverpool in the summer transfer window
Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia is now 10/11 with bookmakers to join Liverpool in the summer transfer window with reports suggesting that a move is getting closer for the player.
The Belgian wonderkid has impressed in his debut season at Southampton with 29 appearances in the Premier League and the Saints relegation has caused clubs to try and sign him.
Recent reports from Belgian football journalist Sacha Tavolieri say that talks between Liverpool and Lavia are going well, but a deal with Southampton still needs to be agreed.
Paddy Power now put Liverpool as the heavy favourites at 10/11 to sign Lavia this summer with those odds suggesting there's a 52% chance of a deal being done.

Arsenal are second favourites in the betting market at 2/1 to sign the promising midfielder
Arsenal have been linked to Lavia in recent months and bookies still have them as short odds in the betting market to sign the midfielder with their odds at 2/1.
It looks likely that both Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey will have to leave though before Lavia's signing becomes an option for the Gunners with Declan Rice set to join them too.
Rice is expected to join Arsenal in the coming days with a deal worth £105m expected to be agreed between Arsenal and West Ham.

Liverpool have strengthened their midfield with the signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai and they're currently 8/1 third favourites to win the league.
