Oscar Piastri Now 8/13 Favourite To Win Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship

We head into the F1 summer break with Oscar Piastri at the top of the Drivers’ Championship standings and bookmakers now make him the 8/13 favourite to go on and win the 2025 title.

Piastri's consistent performances this season has seen him build a 9-point lead over McLaren teammate Lando Norris, who is priced up at 6/5 to overhaul the Aussie in the second half of the season.

Max Verstappen, currently sitting in third place with 187 points is almost 100 points off the lead and now out at 50/1 as Red Bull’s struggles continue this season.

William Hill's latest betting odds put the McLaren's clear in the market and give Verstappen next to no chance, but it's always difficult to rule out the Dutchman.

What the expert says...
It’s been all about McLaren this season. Piastri’s lead so far has tipped the odds in his favour, but Norris is still well within striking distance. Unless Red Bull can pull off a serious performance reset, it looks like a straight shootout between the McLaren pair for the title.
