Volodymyr Zelenskyy is the 6/1 favourite with bookies to win the Nobel Peace Prize as the Ukraine/Russia war continues more than 330 days after the invasion.

The Ukrainian President has been a big leader in Ukraine following Russia's invasion of the country with opinion polls in the country voting him as their greatest ever president.

Paddy Power make Zelenskyy the early betting favourite to win the Nobel Peace Prize award which is presented annually in Oslo, Norway.

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny is the joint second favourite in the betting market at 15/2 and he may prove to be a big figure in 2023.

Navalny has been in prison for two years now after returning to Russia from Germany where he was treated for poisoning from a Soviet-era nerve agent.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has a 14% chance of winning this year's Nobel Peace Prize with the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine not looking like ending any time soon.

Zelenskyy is also 5/1 to win the Time Person of the Year for a second year in a row

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is also a contender for this year's Time Person of the Year award after winning the award last year due to his role as Ukrainian President.

There's a 16% chance that he wins it again this year with Elon Musk the early betting favourite for the award with the Twitter CEO expected to have another big year.

Musk has been in the news almost daily for his running of Twitter since officially taking over towards the end of 2022 and it'll be no different this year.
