Manchester City's Elite Development Squad manager Brian Barry-Murphy is now the 6/4 favourite with UK betting sites to be the next Tranmere Rovers manager with the market changing in the past week.
The Irish coach has been manager of City's Elite Development Squad since 2021 and that role has seen him linked to both the QPR job back in November and York City job in November.
Fast forward to April and the latest odds from TalkSPORT Bet say there's a 40% chance that Barry-Murphy is the next Tranmere boss with former favourite Karl Robinson drifting right out to 10/1 in the market.

Tranmere dismissed Micky Mellon back in March following his second spell in charge of the club
The Tranmere board decided to sacked manager Micky Mellon back in March after six wins since mid-October saw his team slide down the League Two table to 14th.
Mellon had been at the club previously from 2016 to 2020 and had led the club to back-to-back promotions to League One in that first spell before returning in June 2021.
Ian Dawes remains the caretaker manager at Tranmere but has gone from 3/1 to 14/1 in the past fortnight to become the next Tranmere manager.

Rovers are 5/6 to finish in the Top Half in League Two this season
With relegation all but out of the question for Rovers and the play-offs pretty much out of contention too it looks like a top-half finish is the last remaining aim for the club this season.
Rovers currently sit in the top half of the table in 11th place with 53 points but that makes them still only 2 points off 15th place Doncaster Rovers.
Bookies offer odds on Tranmere finishing in the top half at the end of the season with the club odds-on at 5/6 to do so.
