Hot Wheels is the favourite to be the Next Mattel Toy Movie to be released
Betting is now available on what film Mattel will look to release next following the success of the Barbie movie which has smashed records at the global Box Office.
Bookmakers make Hot Wheels 9/4 favourite to be the next movie from Mattel's toy range to be released with reports last year saying that a live-action movie is on the cards.
April 2022 saw Deadline report that J.J Abrams' Bad Robot will produce a live-action Hot Wheels movie and more than a year on we've seen Abrams discuss the movie further.
J. J. Abrams himself has said that they have come up with something "emotional and grounded and gritty" in a recent snippet in a New Yorker piece around Mattel's next step.

Odds given for Barbie winning Oscars Best Picture
Barbie's odds to win Best Picture were slashed from 25/1 down to 14/1 in the week after it's release following it's success at the Box Office.
Despite being a massive hit with film-goers, this may not make it a player at the Oscars but the odds now suggest that there's an 11% chance of it winning the big award with a Best Picture win.
William Hill's latest odds have Oppenheimer as the clear favourite in the market ahead of Killers of the Flower Moon which will be released later in the year.
