Taron Egerton's odds to play James Bond next have been slashed with bookies changing the market once again
With question marks still surrounding who will be the next James Bond, odds are still offered by betting sites on who will star in the iconic role with betting sites slashing the odds on Taron Egerton to star as Bond.
Egerton has previous experience acting as a spy with his appearance in action comedy franchise Kingsman playing a big part in propelling him to worldwide stardom.
Now the market for the next Bond sees Egerton shorten massively into second favourite to play the famous character with bookies now putting him at 3/1 in the market.
Those latest odds give an implied probability of 25% that Egerton is chosen as the next Bond with the market opening up once again in the past week.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains the clear favourite to star as James Bond in the next film in the long-running franchise following reports earlier this year that he had been selected as Bond.
Those same reports though expected the British actor to have been announced in the role by now so the lack of any sort of announcement gives questions around whether or not it will be him that gets the job.
Taylor-Johnson has long been favourite to get the role in the betting market with bookies even suspending the market at one point due to a surge in bets placed.

Dua Lipa has now shortened into 6/4 to sing the next Bond theme with bosses looking to pick the right person for the job to sing one of the biggest songs in movie history.
Bond themes have played a big part in the franchise and recent history has seen these themes win the Oscar for Best Original Song for the last three movies in the series.
“Skyfall" by Adele, "Writing's on the Wall" by Sam Smith and "No Time to Die" by Billie Eilish won the Academy Award for the themes to Skyfall, Spectre and No Time To Die respectively.
28-year-old Lipa headlined Glastonbury last month following in the footsteps of previous Pyramid Stage headliners Adele and Billie Eilish and it may well be that she does the same here by recording the next Bond theme.
