Liberal Democrats are 1/2 to win the Mid Bedfordshire By-Election
Despite there still being no date for the Mid Bedfordshire By-Election, UK Betting Sites are offering odds on which party will win when it comes to voting.
Current MP of Mid Bedfordshire Nadine Dorries said that she would be standing down with "immediate effect" two months ago but she is still in the position.
With Dorries still staying in the role as MP this means that there is still no date for a By-Election to replace her with the BBC saying there are moves in place to force her out.
Labour MP Sir Chris Bryant is trying to force Dorries out of Parliament and he could succeed in doing so if she was to spend six months without attending the Commons.

What the expert says...
Nadine Dorries still not resigned from her role as MP of Mid Bedfordshire
Nadine Dorries had originally stated that she would be standing down as MP back in June but later said that she wouldn't resign formally until she was given further information about why she was denied peerage.
Dorries has faced calls throughout the last 2 months to resign with the current situation causing disrepute at Mid Bedfordshire with the constituency at a standstill.
The Tory MP has not spoken at the House of Commons since July 2022 and hasn't voted since April and there is a law that points at a by-election being triggered if there is no appearance at meetings for six months.
Odds also given for Tamworth's By-Election
Tamworth is another constituency up for By-Election following the suspension of MP Chris Pincher which is still up in the air after he appealed it.
Suspension as an MP automatically triggers a recall petition in which a by-election can be triggered and all that needs to happen is 10% of constituents sign that recall petition.
Bookies say that Labour have a 1/5 chance of winning a potential by-election in which they would need a swing of just over 21% to take the Tamworth seat according to the BBC.
