The betting market for this year's Mercury Prize has already changed around with Loyle Carner previously being the outright favourite with bookies to win the award this year.
Fred Again though has come from second favourite to the joint favourite now to win the award with bookmakers unable to separate the pair in the betting odds.
Loyle Carner's latest album 'hugo' is 7/2 to win the Mercury Prize with Paddy Power saying that the rapper has a 22.2% chance of winning at next month's award show.
DJ and Producer Fred Again also has a 22.2% chance of winning according to the latest odds for his latest album Actual Life 3 (January 1 - September 9 2022).

Young Fathers are third in the odds list to win the Mercury Prize this year for the second time in their careers after they defied the odds back in 2014 to win the award.
2014's win for their album Dead came as a big surprise with bookies pricing them at 16/1 before the event took place with their album selling just 2,386 units before the show.
The Scottish hip-hop trio though won the award and now are nominated again for their 4th release 'Heavy Heavy' three releases and 9 years on from that.

When does the Mercury Prize award take place?
The 2023 Mercury Prize award show will take place on Thursday 7 September at the Eventim Apollo in London.
The show will see nominees for the award perform on the night with the odd recorded performance airing for the acts who can't attend on the night.
