Man City now evens for points deduction according to latest odds

Manchester City's charges trial looks like it's finally coming to an end with the verdict announced in the coming weeks and betting sites continue to give odds on what the outcome will be.

Topping the market sees odds of evens given that City will be given a points deduction for their 115 charges with a 50% implied probability currently given for it to happen.

City are 14/1 to be relegated this season in the general Premier League relegation betting market and that may well be because a points deduction is expected to throw them into the relegation battle towards the final weeks of the season.

The reigning Premier League champions will lose their title this season, likely to Liverpool, but it may well be that they win in their battle against the league here.

Pep Guardiola’s team are 16/1 to have their trophies rescinded

The biggest market mover in the current market sees the odds of City having trophies rescinded move from 20/1 into 16/1 in the past fortnight.

Those odds give an implied probability of 16/1 that they lose some or all of the trophies that they have won during the time that the charges take place over.

Losing any trophy would be a huge disappointment for City and it may well be that they are then given to the runner-up's for each title and cup win.

City favourites for the FA Cup ahead of tricky tie away to Bournemouth

In a terrible season for City on all accounts, the FA Cup has been a shining light in their current doom with the Sky Blues now 2/1 to lift the cup this season.

City have reached the FA Cup Final for the last two seasons with last season's 2-1 loss to rivals Man United following their treble winning season where they beat United.

Guardiola's side have been given a tricky tie against high flying Bournemouth with the Cherries already beating City in the league at home earlier in the campaign.
