Ciaran Davies & Nicole Samuel go into tonight's final as favourites with bookmakers to be winning couple
The 2024 series of Love Island wraps up tonight with the final airing on ITV2 and ITVX and UK Betting Sites have their last market up ahead of the last show of the series.
Ciaran Davies & Nicole Samuel have been favourites to win the show now for over a month and that remains the same although their chances of winning have shortened slightly in the past week according to the odds.
Davies and Samuel had a 73% implied probability of winning Love Island according to the betting market on Friday, but now have a 71.4% chance judging by Bet365's latest odds.
Judging by the latest betting odds it looks firmly like it's a two horse race around who will win the show this year with the two couples at the top of the market well clear of Sean & Matilda and Ayo & Jessica respectively.
Voting for the winner is open now through the Love Island app and will remain open until Maya Jama says otherwise during tonight's live final.
Love Island Winning Couple | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Ciaran Davies & Nicole Samuel | 2/5 | 71.4% |
Joshua Oyinsan & Mimii Ngulube | 5/2 | 28.6% |
Sean Stone & Matilda Draper | 14/1 | 6.7% |
Ayo Odukoya & Jessica Spencer | 50/1 | 2.0% |
What the expert says..
Joey Essex and Jessy Potts were dumped in shock scenes shown on Sunday evening
Sunday night's Love Island saw a shock dumping take place with ex-islanders returning to the villa to vote on the least compatible couple left standing in the show.
Joey Essex and Jessy Potts received the most votes with a total of seven which saw Maya Jama eventually announced their departure from the show.
Joey and Jessy had previously been favourites to win earlier on in the series with the former TOWIE star's popularity expected to have seen him get a decent amount of votes in the final.
We will not see if that is the case now though after the final dumping of the series saw the couple leave the villa with a shocked reaction from the remaining islanders.

Joshua Oyinsan & Mimii Ngulube's odds have shortened in the past week
Joshua Oyinsan & Mimii Ngulube had shortened into second favourites to win Love Island following more than 250 Ofcom complaints after Joey and Sean Stone's behaviour.
Joey and Sean had been accused of bullying Joshua during the Grafties ceremony last week and this saw him and Mimii's odds of winning then move into second favourite for the first time.
In the past week we've seen their odds shorten further from 4/1 last Friday to the 5/2 that they sit at now ahead of tonight's final.
