Borussia Dortmund are now the 2/1 favourites to sign Jadon Sancho this January

Jadon Sancho's future in football looks like it will be away from Old Trafford and bookmakers continue to offer odds on what his next club could be in the January transfer window.

Sancho is now 2/1 to make a return to Borussia Dortmund 2-and-a-half years after he left the Bundesliga side to join Manchester United in a £73m move.

Reports in The Sun last month suggested that Dortmund were ramping up their efforts to get Sancho back but his massive wages could prove to be an issue.

Sancho's eye-watering £350,000-a-week wages are unaffordable for Dortmund so it would need a big wage cut to get him back at the club this January.

Saudi Pro League move could be on the cards due to Sancho's high wages

That £350,000 weekly wage that we mentioned earlier for Jadon Sancho could be the reason why the Saudi Pro League is high up in the betting market as joint second favourite.

Plenty of footballers have moved to the Saudi league in the past 12 months with the high wages one of the big reasons why and Sancho could be the next player to head there.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Jordan Henderson and Ngolo Kante are just some of the names that have headed over to Saudi Arabia to play football there.

Manchester United now out to 250/1 to win the Premier League this season

Manchester United have had a poor few weeks in the Premier League including a home defeat to Bournemouth but their 0-0 draw away at Liverpool will have boosted their confidence again.

Bookies though have put Man United out to 250/1 to win the league this season with Erik ten Hag's men sitting in 7th place in the Premier League table.

United's current standing sees them 11 points behind leader Arsenal and looking likely to be out of the title race and they're also 6 points behind fourth now in the race for European football next season.
