  • Odds of just 4/7 available with bookmakers for Mo Salah to scoop the award
  • Salah looks set for a 2nd Win after scooping the award in 17/18 Season
  • Kevin De Bruyne only 9/1 to make it 3 Consecutive Wins

Mo Salah is being placed by bookmakers as the outstanding favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award for the 2021/22 season, at such a short price that it looks like everyone else in the betting are already also-rans.

A win for the Liverpool star will prevent Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne from making it three-in-a-row after success in the last two seasons.

Manchester City have three players in the running including Phil Foden who is just as popular for his hairstyles

Salah will be hoping for a second success after winning the award in his first season with Liverpool in 2017/18 after joining from Roma and punters are not slow on placing wagers on his chance in the PFA Player of the Year Betting this season

PFA Player of the Year Betting Odds

Mo Salah is the runaway favourite to win PFA Player of the year this season, scooping the honour for a second time and denying Kevin De Bruyne a 3rd award. Bookies consider Salah a 4/7 chance in the betting.

Salah scored 32 goals for Liverpool in the previous season he won the award and is over halfway to that total this season already.

Mo Salah has hit the 2021/22 season running and is already into double figures for goals scored.

Bookmakers have special bets on him hitting 30/35 goals which if he stays injury-free is a possibility.

Salah had his best goalscoring season in 2017/18 when Liverpool finished 4th and he won the award for the first time.

EPL Season Goals Appearances
20/21 22 37
19/20 19 34
18/19 22 38
17/18 32 36

He is now the new PFA favourite and on target to win the award for a second time.

Cristiano Ronaldo is back at Manchester United and had been installed as bookmakers' favourite for PFA Player Of The Year, until Salah's goals.

It is often said "you should never go back" but all the best betting sites still think he will be a big success at Old Trafford.

Many football fans think Ronaldo is the GOAT but by the look of the current PFA odds he may miss out.

With goals and assists, Bernardo Silva has become a key player in Manchester City's push to retain the EPL, after 20 games he has been backed and currently looks the main danger to Salah.

Kevin De Bruyne can be backed at around 9/1 and we all know how brilliant he has been at Manchester City since he arrived in 2015.

He has won the PFA award in the last two seasons, and if he can stay injury-free bettors should get a run for their money.

Phil Foden has chipped In with crucial goals, the second half of the season could see his price shorten further.

Another Belgium star has arrived in the EPL in the shape of striker  Romelu Lukaku, he started well, but injury has meant he has not played as many games at Chelsea as he would have liked.

No English player has won the PFA award since Wayne Rooney in the 2009 -10 season. Welsh wizard Gareth Bale was the last UK winner in the 2012-13 season.
