Sweden remain favourites to win this year's Eurovision Song Contest ahead of next week's show

The hype for this year's Eurovision Song Contest is hotting up with the event taking place next week and bookmakers continue to give odds on who will win this year.

Sweden remain the betting favourites to win Eurovision with the latest odds now giving their act Loreen a 61% chance of winning the event at the top of the market.

William Hill put Sweden as the favourites just ahead of Finland in the betting market with Finland expected to have a better public vote against Sweden's expected Jury vote win.

Loreen won Eurovision back in 2012 for Sweden with her winning song 'Euphoria' arguably one of the most recognisable Song Contest performances in the history of the competition.

Odds also given for the two Eurovision Semi-Finals next week

Eurovision week isn't just the final Song Contest but there are also two Semi-Finals that take place too to make sure that we have the final 26 acts.

26 countries compete in the Eurovision Song Contest with the host broadcaster and the Big 5 of France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom all qualifying automatically for the final show.

The host broadcaster this year was supposed to be last year's winners Ukraine but the UK are hosting the event due to the ongoing war with Russia, but Ukraine will also automatically qualify for the show.

The full odds for both Semi-Finals are available in our news pieces below.
