Ireland are 8/11 to qualify for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest

Betting is available around the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest and bookies make it 8/11 that Ireland qualify for next year's event.

Ireland have qualified once in the last 10 years and it's hoped that with the Song Contest being so close to home next year that they will do so this year.

At the current odds, there's a 57% chance that Ireland do go through to the Final's of Eurovision in 2023.

There are also odds of Ireland winning next year's Song Contest with a 40/1 chance of doing so according to Betway's latest odds.

The latest betting odds give Ireland a 57% chance of qualifying for next year's Eurovision Song Contest. The country has only qualified for the show once in the last 10 years.

Timur Miroshnychenko is the favourite to host next year's Eurovision Song Contest

Ukraine's Eurovision commentator Timur Miroshnychenko is still the favourite to host next year's Eurovision Song Contest.

At odds of 4/5, Miroshnychenko has drifted slightly from the 8/13 he was to host the famous show last month.

Smarkets say there's a 55% chance that Ukraine's Eurovision commentator will travel to Liverpool and host the event next year.

Another Ukrainian representative features in the betting market in Singer Jamala who won the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2016.

She is 7/2 to host the famous Song Contest next year as part of the Grand Final.

Liverpool was confirmed as the host city of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest

Liverpool was confirmed as the host city of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest on The One Show at the start of October.

Graham Norton announced the hosts and this may well hint at his chances of hosting the show next year.

It was a neck and neck race between Glasgow and Liverpool but the Merseyside city eventually won the hosting chance.

The final will be held at the Liverpool Arena next to the River Mersey on Saturday 13 May with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May.

Liverpool were confirmed as the hosts for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest despite being outsiders in the betting market just two months ago. The final of next year's Eurovision will be held on Saturday 13th May.
