Timur Miroshnychenko is the favourite with bookies to host next year's Eurovision Song Contest
Ukrainian Eurovision commentator Timur Miroshnychenko remains the bookies favourite to host next year's Eurovision Song Contest.
At odds of 4/5, Miroshnychenko's odds have come in slightly from the 8/13 he was to host the famous show last month.
Smarkets say there's a 55% chance that Ukraine's Eurovision commentator will come over to Liverpool and host the event next year.
Eurovision 2023 Host | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Timur Miroshnychenko
|
4/5 | 55.6% |
Rylan Clark | 6/5 | 45.5% |
Graham Norton | 6/5 | 45.5% |
AJ Odudu | 3/1 | 25.0% |
Jamala | 7/2 | 22.2% |
Another Ukrainian representative features in the betting market in Singer Jamala who won the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2016.
She is 7/2 to host the famous Song Contest next year as part of the Grand Final hosts.
Graham Norton still high up in the betting market at joint second favourite
Graham Norton still remains towards the top of the betting market to host Eurovision but he's drifted out from the 1/4 he was at one point.
Norton has been a massive part of the BBC's coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest since 2009 and he's shown no signs of that ending.
The presenter took over from Sir Terry Wogan 13 years ago after Wogan stepped down from his commentary role of the event after 37 years.

Liverpool was confirmed as the host city of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest
Liverpool was officially announced as the host city of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest on The One Show last month.
Graham Norton was the man to announce the hosts and this may well help his chances of hosting the show next year.
It was a neck and neck race between Glasgow and Liverpool but the Merseyside city eventually won the hosting chance.
The final will be held at the Liverpool Arena next to the River Mersey on Saturday 13 May with Semi-Finals on Tuesday 9 and Thursday 11 May.
