---|---|---|
Glasgow | 4/5 | 55.6% |
Cardiff | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Belfast | 11/2 | 15.4% |

EBU statement announced that winners Ukraine will not hold final next year
The European Broadcast Union has confirmed that Ukraine will not be hosting the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
This breaks the tradition of the winner of the Contest hosting the next year's event and is sadly due to the current circumstances happening in the country.
According to reports, discussions have begun between the EBU and the BBC around the UK's hosting of the event next year.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has since made a statement that next year's contest SHOULDN'T be held in the UK and that Ukraine should host it as they won it.
Of course Johnson may not even be the Prime Minister by the time next year's event takes place as seen in our blog here.
The UK are 10/1 to win next year's Eurovision Song Contest
Next year's Eurovision Song Contest potentially being held in the UK means that bookmakers already have specials around the event.
Sam Ryder smashed it at last year's Eurovision, coming second place to winners Ukraine with his song SPACE MAN.
Eurovision Betting Specials | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
United Kingdom to win Eurovision 2023 | 10/1 | 9.1% |

The UK's recent history at the Eurovision Song Contest has been poor, with regular low scoring appearances at the yearly event.
Just two year's ago, the UK finished last with James Newman receiving 'nul points' with his song Embers.
