Bookies are now offering odds on who will make Gareth Southgate's XI for the first game of the Euros

Bookmakers continue to offer a variety of betting specials around this summer's European Championship with the latest market offered looking at who Gareth Southgate will start in England's first match.

England kick off Euro 2024 on Sunday 16th June against Serbia and Southgate has a tough decision around who he starts for the game with a plethora of talent available to choose from.

Midfield looks to be the position where the England manager has his biggest headache with Conor Gallagher the current favourite to sit in the deeper role in the opener against Serbia.

The current 11/2 favourite in the betting market to be England's XI for that game against Serbia is Pickford, Walker, Maguire, Stones, Trippier, Rice, Gallagher, Foden, Bellingham, Saka, Kane.

England kick off the Euros against Serbia as we look at the full schedule for Southgate's men

England will compete in Group C at Euro 2024 alongside Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia and are unsurprisingly big favourites to win their group.

The Three Lions kick off their campaign against Serbia on Sunday 16th June at 8pm before facing Denmark in Frankfurt on 20th June.

Wrapping up England's Group Stage is their game against Slovenia at the Cologne Stadium which will hopefully see them wrap up winning the group in style.

Further betting markets include the winner odds with England going into the tournament as the favourites

Odds are still being offered on who will win the Euros this summer, with Southgate's side the favourites in the outright winner market to win the tournament.

Southgate's men go into this tournament with arguably the best squad on paper and it looks like there will be no greater chance than this one of winning silverware.

England have never won the Euros and have not won an international trophy since the 1966 World Cup and they're now 3/1 to end that run with a win here.

France will be their main competitors according to the latest betting odds with Kylian Mbappe looking to lead his country to their first Euros win since 2000.
