Ted Lasso remains 5/4 favourite to be the Outstanding Comedy Series at this year's Emmys

Football Comedy series Ted Lasso remains the bookmakers favourite to be Outstanding Comedy Series at this year's Emmy Awards.

There are plenty of betting markets available for the new series of Ted Lasso, but the second series of the show has been nominated 20 times at this year's Emmys.

At 5/4, bookies give a 44.4% chance that Ted Lasso wins Outstanding Comedy Series, just ahead of Abbott Elementary which is 6/4 in the betting market.

Paddy Power give odds for the Emmy Awards this evening with numerous categories available on their site.

Outstanding Comedy Series
Odds Probability
Ted Lasso 5/4 44.4%
Abbott Elementary 6/4 40.0%
Hacks 4/1 20.0%
Barry 4/1 20.0%
Only Murders in the Building 16/1 5.9%
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel 33/1 2.9%
What We Do In The Shadows 40/1 2.4%
Curb Your Enthusiasm 66/1 1.5%

Lee Jung-jae now the betting favourite in the Lead Actor In A Drama Series for his role in Squid Game

Lee Jung-jae is now the 7/4 favourite in the Outstanding Actor in a Drama Emmy's betting market with the awards show taking place this week.

Jung-jae was second favourite behind Brian Cox but bookies now make him the outright favourite for the award.

Outstanding Lead Actor - Drama Odds Probability
Lee Jung-jae (Squid Game) 7/4 36.4%
Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) 2/1 33.3%
Brian Cox (Succession) 2/1 33.3%
Jeremy Strong (Succession) 9/2 18.2%
Adam Scott (Severance) 25/1 3.8%
Jason Bateman (Ozark) 25/1 3.8%

Jason Bateman has been nominated for this award before but at 25/1 he's the joint betting outsider for the category.

5 of the last 10 winners of the award though have been for the final season of their shows and this may swing the award in Bateman's favour.
