Emmy Awards 2025: Adolescence & Severance Headline the Betting Markets

The countdown is on to the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards and the betting markets are beginning to take shape across the Limited Series and Drama categories.

Adolescence, the breakout hit of the year, is now a commanding 1/16 favourite with UK betting sites to take home the award for Outstanding Limited Series, making it one of the shortest-priced Emmy frontrunners in years.

Hosted by Nate Bargatze and held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the Emmys will be broadcast in the early hours of Monday, 15th September (UK time) and betting sites are already braced for a night of upsets or affirmation.

Adolescence, with its raw performances and stylistic innovation, has swept critics’ lists and awards conversations all season and William Hill's odds give an implied probability of 94.1% that it wins Limited Series.

After leading the full nomination count with 27 nominations, Apple TV+’s Severance is now 4/9 favourite to win Outstanding Drama Series, with The Pitt (9/4) seen as its closest rival.

The White Lotus, another awards heavyweight in recent years, is out at 12/1, perhaps reflecting a more muted critical response this season.

This market is much tighter than the Limited Series one, with Severance and The Pitt well clear of the rest of the pack.
