Max Verstappen is the betting favourite to win the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend
Betting markets are now available for the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend with betting sites offering odds on who will win the race with home favourite Max Verstappen leading the betting market.
The Dutch driver is looking to win his first race since Spain back in June with the four races since won by George Russell, Oscar Piastri and then two wins for Lewis Hamilton.
Verstappen's form won't be too much of a worry with a healthy lead still in the Drivers Championship but there has only been one podium for him in those four races too.
He arrives back home though as the favourite here with a sea of orange ready to welcome him to Zandvoort and Bet365 give him odds of 7/4 to win the race.
Verstappen sits ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in the betting market with Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell wrapping up the top 5 of the market.

What the expert says...
Verstappen remains the 2/9 favourite for the Drivers Championship this season
Verstappen currently sits 78 points clear at the top of the Formula 1 Drivers Championship standings with 7 wins so far this season giving him a total of 277 points.
It's Lando Norris who follows behind him in second place on 199 points and it'll need a stunning second half of the season to see him compete for the title.
Bookies do still give Norris a 25% chance of winning the Drivers Championship this year and if Red Bull remains inconsistent after the break we may see a competitive few months on the track.
Back in 2022 Charles Leclerc sat 34 points clear at the top of the Drivers Championship with Verstappen in 6th place and 46 points behind but a massive swing in just 5 races saw him overturn that and go clear.
We'll need to see an even bigger swing this season but when it comes to Formula 1 you just never know what will happen.
F1 Drivers Championship 2024 Winner | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Max Verstappen | 2/9 | 81.8% |
Lando Norris | 3/1 | 25.0% |
Oscar Piastri | 100/1 | 1.0% |
Lewis Hamilton | 150/1 | 0.7% |
McLaren are the 4/7 favourites for the constructors championship after a strong season so far
Surprisingly it is McLaren who now sit as the favourites to win the F1 Drivers Championship this season with their car competitive and Red Bull's second driver Sergio Perez struggling.
With no disrespect to Perez it's Verstappen who is keeping the Constructors fight alive almost single-handedly with 299 of the 408 points won by the team so far.
McLaren sit 42 points behind in the Constructors standings but bookmakers have them as the odds-on favourites to win at the end of the season.
F1 Constructors Championship 2024 Winner | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
McLaren | 4/7 | 63.6% |
Red Bull | 5/4 | 44.4% |
Ferrari | 33/1 | 2.9% |
Mercedes | 33/1 | 2.9% |
