I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • McLaren teammates Piastri (5/4) and Norris (11/8) dominate the Dutch GP betting market.
  • Verstappen at 7/1 looks a long shot despite home support.
  • Drivers’ Championship odds suggest a two-way fight, with Piastri 8/13 favourite.

Formula 1 roars back into action after the summer break with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, and the storylines couldn’t be bigger.

McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris continue their duel at the top of the Drivers’ Championship, with bookmakers setting up a head-to-head battle for supremacy in the Netherlands.

Lando Norris was dominant here last year, claiming pole position, fastest lap, and the race victory.

However, this season belongs to Piastri so far, with the Australian holding a slender nine-point lead in the standings going into the second half of the campaign.

William Hill have markets up for the race as well as the Championship winner with McLaren unsurprisingly dominating the top of the odds.

Dutch Grand Prix Winner Odds

Bookies suggest a straight fight between the two McLaren stars, with Piastri narrowly edging favouritism at 5/4.

Norris, who thrives at Zandvoort after last year’s clean sweep, is priced at 11/8, while home favourite Max Verstappen is out at 7/1, reflecting Red Bull’s struggles this season.

What the expert says...
Zandvoort feels tailor-made for Lando Norris, who was sensational here in 2024. But the pressure is on. Oscar Piastri’s consistency has given him the upper hand in the standings. Punters will note Verstappen’s drift to 7/1 on home soil, which would have been unthinkable two years ago, showing just how dominant McLaren now are.

Drivers’ Championship Odds

Piastri leads the way in the outright standings and the betting market, but Norris remains firmly in the hunt at 6/5.

With Red Bull drifting, this season’s title looks increasingly like a McLaren-exclusive battle.
