David De Gea now has an 8/1 chance of joining either Valencia or Betis with the goalkeeper still a free agent
Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is now 8/1 to join Valencia or Betis with reports hinting the player with a move to both clubs in Spain.
Bookmakers have priced up both teams as joint third favourites after reports in September from Spanish publication fichajes.net linking him both Betis and Valencia.
Betis though have since distanced themselves from those reports with two experienced keepers already in their ranks and it may be that De Gea remains without a club.
Other reports from the Daily Mail say that De Gea and his partner would like to settle back in Spain once again after living in Manchester for 12 years.

Any Saudi Pro League club still favourite destination for De Gea
De Gea is still favourite to move to Saudi Arabia but it looks likely that any move to the Saudi Pro League will come as a last resort for the goalkeeper.
It's no surprise to see De Gea's name in the lights once more after his replacement at Old Trafford, Andre Onana, has had a bit of a stinker since coming in to say the least.
United's 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray on Tuesday night highlighted Onana's weakness once more with his distribution and shot-stopping both questioned in that loss.
Other reports hint at RETIREMENT for Spanish goalkeeper
The Guardian reported back on 22 September that David De Gea may retire if he doesn't receive an offer to be number 1 at a major club in the coming weeks.
Those report state that De Gea has already turned down a number of proposals including from Saudi Arabia with money not a big factor at this point in his career.
De Gea's time at United was successful with the goalkeeper winning the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League in his time at Old Trafford.
It may well be though that he will decide to call it a day now despite only turning 33 next month with plenty of years left in his career if he was to get a club.
