Call of Duty League's Major 5 pre-tournament betting favourites OpTic Texas are now well out to 10/1 to win the event after a shock 3-0 loss to Florida Mutineers on Thursday evening.
OpTic went into the event having been undefeated in qualifiers with a perfect 5-0 run including a 3-0 whitewash of the Mutineers in their final qualifier but that all changed on LAN last night.
The Mutineers were dominant against OpTic in a massive shock result running out 3-0 winners and this has now sent Texas down to the losers bracket where they will face Major 4 winners LA Thieves.
The latest betting odds from Bet365 now have OpTic as 10/1 to win the event despite starting the tournament as the heavy favourites and they will have to be on it with a losers bracket run now.

Friday night's fixtures include LA Thieves facing OpTic Texas in Losers R1
The big game on Day 2 sees LA Thieves face OpTic Texas in Round 1 of the losers bracket, or Elimination R1 to give it it's proper name.
This match is a rematch of the Major 4 final where the Thieves ran out winners against OpTic and it shows the quality of the league to have that as R1 in losers bracket.
The winner of this match will then go on to play the winners of Boston Breach v London Royal Ravens in the final match of Day 2 at Major 5.
